May brings warmer weather and the first hints of the happy summer days ahead. It is also brings Memorial Day - and in honor of Memorial Day we at Signature Salon & Spa are putting together care packages for our U.S. soldiers serving overseas. If you would like to make a contribution we have listed the items requested by the soldiers below. We feel this is a small way to thank them for their service to our country.

Below we have listed the items that the soldiers have requested. Items are being collected at the salon through Friday, May 27th and can be placed in the box beside the reception desk. We also need volunteers to help us package up the items. Volunteers will be needed from 3-5pm on Fridays starting Friday, May 13th. Please call the receptionist to sign up at 908-823-0533. Please let us know if you have someone, or know someone, currently stationed overseas and we will be happy to send a package directly to them. We thank you in advance for you time and contributions!

Clothing Items:

- cotton undershirts (all sizes)

- cotton tube socks

Personal Care Items:

- contact lens cleaner

- eye drops

- sunscreen (30 SPF or higher)

- baby wipes

- medicated face wipes

- deodorant (men's and women's)

- razors

- shaving cream (in a tube - no aerosol cans permitted)

- toothbrushes, toothpaste & floss

- Q-tips

- chapstick & lip gloss

- personal care kits (nail file, nail clipper, tweezers, etc.)

- medicated foot powder

Food Items:

- trail mix

- beef jerky

- pistachio nuts

- pepperoni sticks

- Halloween-type candy (miniatures)

- Pop-tarts
